Guide to talking
General guidelines:
This is a guide to talking. In this guide you will find some basic things you should and shouldn't do when talking to people. From bottom of this page, you will find a small volcabulary about shorts used in internet.
When you are talking to people, always check your spelling. Incorrectly spelled words annoy people, and sometimes they might get the whole point wrong. But don't fear to speak if you don't know how to write correctly. It's better talk than be quiet all the time.
IF there are only couple people there where you are, and wanna sell something, don't say like "Selling bronze bars press 777". It's completely usesless... you could just say that you are selling something, and if they want to buy, they will contact you. Only use that thing if you are in really crowded spot, where it is hard to find other people. But don't use it too much, because it is annoying.
Never try to sell worthless items like boots or gloves. Nobody really want them, so it is just waste of your time to try to sell them. BUT you can always offer cabbage for everything, it's the symbol of n00bism. (runescape community joke...)
Don't write in CAPS, it is VERY annoying to other players if you do it all the time. You can do it if you are pissed of, but it is still annoying.
Never use this line in subject of a message "Every one plz read this!", instead use this space to tell the real rubject of the messages.
Don't scam, be lame or anything like that. Lamer's and scammers are hated.
If you are a newbie, don't ask anything if you don't like to be hated, because most of the newbie questions can be found from quides or are other vise very clear things. If you still wanna ask, you risk your neck for being marked as n00b.
How to sound like a wice person:
If you want to sound like a very wice person, you sure gotta act like one.
Never ever call people names or swear, and don't even mock anyone. They are the worst things that make you look like a little child.
Always handle things calmly. Never get upset even from the biggest thing. If they wanna fight against you, it doesn't mean you had to fight against them. Always also try to calm people down. If they are fighting, you gotta stop them.

| BUMP | Used to rise the message on message boards to the top, because message which is replied always rises to the top. Bumbing is usually considered a bad thing, so try avoiding it. |
| CAPS | This is commonly used word in message boards. It means writing in BIG letters. |
| lame | Every one hates lames. They annoy other people on purpose. |
| lamer | See "lame" |
| newbie | A player who is new to a game. He doesn't generally know anything and asks stupid questions and does stupid things. |
| P33L0 | A player who doesn't really cheat or be a lamer. He is mainly a person who does stupid things on purpose. |
| Quest | A task you can gain from NPCs and do them to gain rewards and quest points. |
| scam | An annoying thing that scammers do. Also known as cheating. Example of scam would be like telling "Player houses are open!", if they weren't open, or like telling "I can upgrade items" and then you give him your stuff and he rans away with them. |
| scammer | A person who does scams. Don't go near them. |
| typo | Typing error. This is very common and happens you everyone =) |
